Hmm, well, regardless of time period and culture, it’s still painful. Anyway, the Islamic Sharia is derived from the Halakha (and the Torah etc) in Judaism. A former radical Jewish movement, the Christians, do also have the Torah in their religious texts. These three middle eastern religions have more in common than people want to believe, including the extremism and its followers.
