Oh, yes, I remember the days when you spent days in the hospital to have tests that are now outpatient. The Gray Ladies would come around in the morning with a juice cart, in the afternoon with sherbet, and at other odd times with the magazine/book cart. Patients could easily read a hardback book before discharge.
