    Maine Coon is the biggest breed of house cat, the St. Bernard of kitties. I am blessed with a 22 lb (and not fat!) Coonie, a giant orange furry thing that is sweet and affectionate as hell, eats more than my dog. (but is much quieter), and routinely freaks out plumbers, repairmen, etc. who think he is a lynx (orange?) or a cougar kitten coming to see what they are doing.
